These are some broad guidelines to be maintained at the NST Premises by all residents. Children may also be trained to observe these etiquettes as applicable.
Follow all the maintenance guidelines provided by the builder.
All garbage must be tied up in a plastic bag that can easily pass into the garbage chute door. Ensure the bag is well secured and capable of holding the garbage. Kindly ensure that disposal of the garbage is done in water tight bags.
Follow government norms by Segregating biodegradable waste and dispose it into the garbage chute in a green bag. And non - biodegradable in Red/Black Bag.
The garbage chute door must be opened fully and the bag must be allowed to slide along the door and drop freely into the garbage chute.
The door of the garbage chute must be closed after the garbage is dropped into the chute.
Cartons should be taken to the ground floor and left near the garbage collection chamber or placed opposite to the restroom in the stilt area.
Drilling is permitted from 9 AM to 6:00 PM Mondays to Saturday. (Refer to to the Append GE001A for more clarity on the guidelines related civil/interior work inside your flat)
Do not waste water as it increases the load on sewage water treatment plants and depletion of groundwater.
Keep the power usage load around 500W during main power failure and DG set is operational (Appliances like Mixer Grinder, Refrigerator, Air Conditioner, Electric Heater and Kettle consume more power and should be avoided).
If footwear is to be kept in the corridor a shoe rack (occupying about 4 Sq.ft floor space and width below 1.25 ft) should be used without obstructing free passage.
Bicycles should be parked in the stilt area.
Childrens (below 10 years of age) must always be accompanied by an adult while using the lift and in the open area.
Park your vehicles in your allotted parking space.
Do not obstruct any common area including corridors, service space, staircase etc. (Remember any space outside the flat is common area and cannot be used for storing any household items)
Do not park your vehicles in other people's parking spaces.
Guests and Visitors should not park their vehicle inside the building premises. Kindly contact security for parking space or ask them to park outside the apartment.
NO Smoking in all common areas of the apartment. Smoking on the balcony should be avoided as it harms your neighbours. Kindly dispose the ash in the ashtrays within your house and do not throw them outside from Balcony.
Do not throw anything out of the balcony and windows. Children may also be trained to observe these etiquettes
Do not throw waste paper/used tissues/ biscuit or chocolate wrappers in common areas
Do not keep your Bi-cycles, furnitures, in the corridor
Do not put your clothes drying in the corridor.
Do not leave used empty cartons in the staircase, service areas provided for A/c etc. (Remember cardboard cartons disposed carelessly are fire hazards)
Do not drop heavy objects, metallic objects and bottles etc into the chute.
Do not block the chute passage by ensuring that the garbage has slid into the chute.
Loose garbage should not be dropped/spilled into the chute or dropped under the garbage chute door
Do not force oversized objects that cannot fit into the garbage chute door should not be forced. This will choke the garbage chute.
Do not drop Cartoons/boxes that are oversized and cannot be easily dropped through the garbage chute door.
Do not perform drilling outside the permitted period (Mondays to Saturday 9 AM to 5:30 PM), Sundays and national holidays. (As a courtesy, avoid drilling between 1 PM and 3 PM.)
Do not perform any drilling operation when the power supply is through DG set.
Do not play loud music or make noise that creates nuisance to others.
Pets should not be walked in the premises without the owner accompanying them. Do not allow your pet to poop inside the premises. If a pet poops the owner must immediately clear it.
Do not allow children to play in the parking lot.
Children below age 10 should not be allowed to use the lift or play in open areas without elders supervision.
Children playing in the open areas must not hinder or play in a manner that may cause injury to others.
Drilling/granite cutting/any kind of floor pounding works will be allowed from 9:00 am to 6 pm. Lunch time of minimum 1.5 hrs should be observed between 1 pm and 3 pm.
No drilling /granite cutting /any kind of floor pounding works will be allowed on any Sunday.
No drilling/granite cutting /interior work will be allowed on Independence day, Republic day, Gandhi Jayanti, Christmas, Pongal, Deepawali, Bakrid, Ramzan, Vijayadashami.
In general any Interior work that doesn’t cause noise disturbance to neighbours like painting will be allowed, after prior approval is taken. Security must be kept informed of the identity of workers who shall remain confined to the flat. Only work that doesn’t create disturbance to neighbours will be allowed.
Workers shall exit the premises at 6pm. Extension of time in exceptional cases will be allowed after intimating Security.
All owners shall intimate their tenants regarding these guidelines and ask them to follow them.
All are requested to schedule their interior/maintenance work keeping the above guidelines in mind and ensure that their work plans are not disrupted. All are requested to co-operate and help maintain a congenial environment.
