Navins Starwood Towers Phase-1 comprises of two blocks namely Chestnut and Walnut each having 108 flats (total 216 flats) which is the first of Navins Starwood Towers Project being executed by Navins Properties Ltd in 3 phases at Vengaivasal, Chennai in Chegulput District.
STARWOOD TOWERS OWNERS ASSOCIATION (BLOCK B1 & B2)” – VENGAIVASAL (STOWA) was formed on 18.03.2018 and registered under Tamilnadu Societies Registration Act 1975 on 25th June 2018 with registration number 258/2018 along with its bye-laws that govern the conduct of its business.
All flat owners in Phase-1 covering 216 flats will become members of the Association and abide by the registered bye-laws and amendments if any thereafter. All the tenants who come to reside in these flats will also be governed by the bye-laws and guidelines/rules framed by the Management Council of the Association. Owners will ensure that the tenants are made aware of their status and their need to abide by the bye-laws and rules of the Association.
The Association will be run by an elected Management Council. The Management Council will in turn appoint an Executive Committee with a minimum of six Office bearers namely:

Vice-President
Secretary
Joint Secretary
Treasurer
Joint Treasurer
The Association will be responsible to manage and maintain the Apartment’s common facilities and services. Presently since the builder is yet to hand over the maintenance of the Apartment to the Association, it monitors and coordinates the performance of the builder.
The Association has been instrumental in taking up various issues of concern in the community to the builder to seek redressal and resolution.
The Association has two bank accounts to collect funds and manage its finances. The Association manages a domestic piped gas facility in the premises with monthly consumption recording and billing. Regular accounts are maintained and annual financial statements have been prepared and got audited.
